Terry E. Carter, Medford's Poet Laureate, and Dan Chelotti, poet and Elms College Professor shared the stage with 10 audience members who performed on Griffin Terrace.  Jazz pianist Jonathan Fagan and Medford's Poet Laureate Terry E. Carter shared their collaborative "Ally Project" as part of WCMS's 40th anniversary faculty concert series. Carter's powerful words, together with Fagan's arrangements and improvised accompaniments, provided an emotional lens through which to process the themes of racial justice, cultural heritage, and family that Carter poignantly emphasizes throughout his work. They were joined by guest artists Greg Toro on bass and John Dalton on drums.
