This luminous earthwork was conceived as a moment of orientation within instability. Inspired by theorized nuclear waste warning monuments, fairytale landscapes, and speculative signage, the work merges subtle menace with quiet invitation. Activated at night, the work becomes a glowing guidepost. Sometimes there is no correct direction, only the next step forward. Jaina Cipriano is an experiential artist, filmmaker, and photographer whose work explores how constructed worlds shape internal life. Drawing from personal history, folklore, and speculative monuments, her practice centers on building immersive environments that allow viewers to confront uncertainty and memory through embodied experience. Jaina is a former Winchester resident. See more by Jaina Cipriano Comments are closed.
